Interactive Whiteboards are the latest in presentation technology, providing exciting new ways to present, communicate and share information. They are primarily used for conference presentations or as a teaching aid.

Used with an LCD projector and notebook or desktop computer they are ideal for education, staff training, video conferencing and boardroom use.

Interactive whiteboards basically look like regular whiteboards, but are essentially large touch screen monitors that can control an attached computer. The computer image is projected on to the board and the computer can be controlled from the board; either directly with a finger or with a special pen. The finger or pen take over from the mouse and control the pointer so if it works on your computer, it can be controlled from the whiteboard. If you use presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint then many projectors will have a remote control that will allow you to advance the slides.

Additionally, wireless tablets can be passed to individual members of the group session or classroom, so they can interact with the whiteboard without leaving their seat.
